SiBR Solutions

An enterprise MES that runs inside SAP ERP

SiBR Solutions is an enterprise manufacturing execution system developed and designed over ten years. It supports regulatory requirements while reducing risk, lowering cost, improving efficiency and shortening speed to market.

The architecture

Nothing to keep in step

A conventional MES sits alongside the enterprise system. Master data, orders, inventory and quality results are copied across an interface, and the interface then becomes a permanent obligation: it has to be maintained, monitored, revalidated after every change, and defended in an audit.

SiBR Solutions is an enterprise-level execution solution within SAP. Change control, inventory, quality and asset processes are already integrated and harmonised with SAP, so no interface architecture is required to manage them.

Order execution
Operators work the process order step by step against the electronic batch record, with enforced sequencing and prompts for the values that matter.
Data capture
Parameters, weights, times and equipment are recorded at the point of execution and checked against limits as they are entered.
Electronic signature
Steps are signed by the people performing and verifying them, against SAP user identity, with a full audit trail.
Review by exception
Deviations surface as they happen, so review focuses on what fell outside limits rather than on re-reading a complete record.
Quality integration
Inspection lots, results recording and usage decisions are the standard SAP QM objects, not a parallel set of quality records.
Release
The batch record is complete when the batch is complete, so release is a decision rather than a reconstruction.

What changes

Time comes out of review, not corners

Paper and hybrid records push effort to the end: the record is assembled, checked, queried and corrected long after the batch is made. Every question costs a trip back through the documentation and a delay to release.

When execution and record are the same act, the questions are answered while the people who know the answer are still on shift.

Fit

Who SiBR suits

Good fit

You already run SAP ERP

SiBR extends the system of record you have rather than adding another one beside it.

Good fit

Your process is regulated

Signatures, sequencing, audit trail and controlled deviation handling are the default behaviour, not a configuration project.

Good fit

Release time is the bottleneck

If batches are made quickly and released slowly, the constraint is usually the record.

Walk through a batch record with us.

We will use a process order that looks like yours, from line clearance to release.
